Free Art License

This license pertains to free art requests and defines your (the requestor's) and Virmir's (the artist's) rights. This page will always be linked for your review before you request art. (I.e. this obviously does not apply to gift art or any of my random doodles.)

This license assumes that the character(s) or items drawn are owned by you. If you have questions or would like to do something differently, just ask! This is just the default "what is okay" list. This license does not apply to any artwork I drew before November 21st, 2010 unless it was specifically agreed upon by you.

You, the requestor may:

• Repost the artwork in your art gallery, provided credit is given to Virmir. (A link to my own posting of the artwork works best. )
• Use the artwork for personal use around the internet, such as forum avatars, website banners, etc. This includes any and all of your promotions of whatever it is the character I drew for you is involved in.
• Modify the artwork as you wish, provided that any modified images are noted as such, and modifications do not move the image outside of Virmir's PG guidelines.

Virmir retains all other rights, including:

• Using the artwork on his websites and for promotional purposes (i.e. in banners and such)
• Selling prints of and including the artwork, such as posters, stickers, etc. including through Zazzle and similar services.

This of course applies to this one artwork only and does not imply any character ownership transfer whatsoever. The requestor retains full ownership and copyright of the drawn subject(s).
